Kylie Minogue won't quit 'The Voice': 'I'm in it for the long run'

Australian songstress Kylie Minogue has spoken out on the recent rumours that suggest she planned to quit her mentoring role on 'The Voice' and claimed there's no truth there at all.

Speaking to MTV News about being on the show, the 'Into The Blue' beauty explained that she has no intention of pulling out and she's enjoying taking part as a judge: "No, I wasn't going to quit at all. I'm in for the long run and overall, it's a really great experience."

"It's intense, it is seriously intense and I do a lot of things I could say that about like going on tour, which is full on, relentless. Working on 'The Voice' - because it's a new experience for me - I didn't know how you do it, what I'm going to say or how I'm going to feel. I wasn't sure if I would be any good or if I'd say the right thing."

Minogue added that the filming schedule is gruelling, but completely worthwhile: "There are really long days, so hats off to everyone, particularly Sir Tom Jones, who I think has got it right as he just cruises, he's the same pace as the tortoise who wins the race, me, I'm all over the place, I get too involved…"

Her new album, entitled 'Kiss Me Once', is due to be officially released on March 17 and the lead single, 'Into The Blue', will drop just before on March 9.
