Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ is No. 1

Lady Gaga’s much anticipated and much hyped album ‘Born This Way’ has entered the charts this week straight at No. 1, knocking Adele’s long-reigning album ‘21’ down to the No. 2 spot.

The record was released on Monday May 23 and began its chart dominance at the midweek results on Wednesday May 25.

Although her time on top has ended for the moment, Adele still hangs on to both the No. 2 and 3 spots as her debut ‘19’ remains unmoved just under her latest record.

The Prodigy’s ‘World On Fire Live’ is this week’s highest chart entry at No. 5 with the only other new addition being the ‘Working My Way Back To You Collection’ from Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.

Some notable climbers include Take That whose ‘Progress’ has jumped up five places to No. 16 as their massive tour of the same name gets underway, and Aloe Blacc’s ‘Good Things’, which has leapt 12 places to No. 14.
