Gaga and more pay tribute to Whitney Houston

Lady Gaga and a number of music stars have paid tribute to Whitney Houston a year after her death.

The vocal star sadly passed away aged 48 on February 11 last year in a Beverly Hills hotel.

The news shocked the music industry and it seems the feelings are still strong one year on.

Lady Gaga took to Twitter to write: "A year since Whitney. Marilyn, Judy, Sylvia: tell em' how you feel girls. otherwise no one will."

Mariah Carey said: "It's 2/11..remembering my friend the incredible Whitney Houston. It's been a year & still so hard to believe. Her legend lives on eternally."

Toni Braxton meanwhile tweeted: "RIP to the late GREAT Nippy! The one and only Whitney Houston! You will FOREVER be loved and missed! Xoxoxo."
