Lily Allen: 'I'm not close to Miley Cyrus, but I am so proud of her'
British songstress Lily Allen is due to kick off her support slot on Miley Cyrus's Bangerz tour tonight in Uniondale, New York and she has revealed that she isn't that close with the pop sensation.
Speaking to Billboard, the 'Air Balloon' hitmaker explained that they don't know each other well yet although she is proud of Cyrus's success and hopes they'll get to be good friends:
“She's incredible, and she has such a presence. Her personality is what shines through. I'm not close to Miley, I don't know her very well, but I feel proud of her.”
Allen, meanwhile, recently slammed BBC Radio 1 for not knowing 'what the f**k they're doing' after they dropped her music from the playlist and told PressPlay: "The truth is nobody knows what the f**k they're doing. They can pretend they’ve got a formula that works and [that] they 'know' they’re exactly in control of the game but they’re just not. No one knows."
