Lil Za has spoken out on Twitter about his recent arrest at Justin Bieber's house - and he believes his race may have played a part in the media's reaction to the news.

The rapper was arrested recently on drugs charges after police searched Bieber's Los Angeles home in a relation to his alleged egg-throwing.

Police charged Za with possession of cocaine or a form of ecstasy, whilst the the rapper was also arrested again later for damaging a phone in his holding cell.

He was bailed and Za has now taken to Twitter to suggest that he is the victim of unfair media coverage:

"Honestly, the media is making me someone I'm not. But only those in my shoes can relate...These ppl get paid to make you look bad. Some stuff I've done has been wrong yes. but look at the position I'm in and the color of my skin. Cocaine? Really?"

He added: "All this time I was home in tx nobody gave a f*ck about what Za is doing...soon as he gets to La he's all over the news."
