The Big Reunion star Kenzie has been injured in a "serious" car crash.

The singer appeared on the nostalgic TV show this year as part of boyband supergroup 5th Story alongside the likes of Gareth Gates and Dane Bowers.

However, a statement posted on his Twitter account on Sunday (May 4) has revealed that Kenzie will miss upcoming engagements after being hospitalised following a crash.

The post read: "Kenzie was involved in a serious car accident in the early hours of this morning, he's recovering in hospital but will miss up & coming gigs."

5th Story meanwhile are due to tour the UK later this year as part of The Big Reunion's boyband tour.

They will play a host of British arenas alongside the likes of 5ive, Blue and A1 in October.
