Actress Elle Fanning has revealed that she was starstruck after seeing Bajan beauty Rihanna at a recent fashion show and was so excited that the 'Diamonds' superstar said hello to her. 

Speaking to Vogue magazine, the 'Maleficent' starlet explained that she was at the Miu Miu catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year when she spotted Rihanna entering the room so had to wave because she's a huge fan:

"It [the show] was so fun, not snooty at all. I had already met Bella, Lizzie and Lupita at the [Miu Miu] campaign shoot. And Rihanna was there! That was really cool. I waved and said, 'Hi!', and she said, 'Hi'. She had her sunglasses on. She is so fashionable. When she walked in with her big fur coat, I was just - wow!'"

16-year-old Fanning went onto add that she has always had a love for fashion and enjoys changing up her own style: "I was aware of fashion from a really young age and my mother would let me be very free in what I wanted to put on. I just love fashion; it excites me. I used to be very girly, and I still am, I love ruffles and bows and pink, but I think my style is evolving in a way."
