LA Reid teases Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson collaboration

Music mogul LA Reid has revealed that a really exciting duet between the late Michael Jackson and Canadian superstar Justin Bieber is likely to happen soon.

Bieber appeared on an early version of the King of Pop's 'Slave 2 The Rhythm', which initially leaked online, and it has now been included on his posthumous record 'Xscape', but without the 'As Long As You Love Me' heartthrob's vocals.

Speaking exclusively to Access Hollywood, Reid confessed that he is "pretty sure" the project will go ahead and if it does, it will be "really special":

"I signed Justin, so I feel a loyalty. I feel like I should protect him. That’s my relationship with him. But ‘Slave 2 The Rhythm’ didn’t include him per my direction … If it hadn’t been leaked, it would have been featured but it sort of took the wrong turn. But you know what? We’re gonna revisit that.”

He added, “We’re going to revisit it and do something really special with Justin Bieber and Michael.”

Access Hollywood reporter Shaun Robinson then asked, "So Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson may be singing together on a future release of Michael’s?”, and Reid confirmed, “I’m pretty sure".
