One Direction's Dubai concert way more in demand than tickets to see Justin Bieber

The lads from One Direction recently confirmed that they will perform a concert at Dubai's The Seven Stadiums on April 4, 2015 and thousands of fans turned up 14 hours in advance to queue for tickets to the show.

Thomas Ovesen, chief operating officer of Done Events, which is the company in charge of putting on the event, admitted that no one expected the turn out to be so huge: "It has just been incredible. The turnout was bigger than we had thought it would be.”

Ovesen, who has put on concerts for the likes of Bruno Mars and Katy Perry, went onto add: "It’s by far the fastest-selling and most in-demand show that I’ve ever put on. Nothing has been as in demand as this."

He also confessed that the 'Story Of My Life' heartthrobs managed to rack up twice as many ticket sales in just two hours than Canadian sensation Justin Bieber had in one whole day.

This new tour, which is named the On The Road Again tour, will see the hitmakers perform in Australia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates throughout 2015.
