Blink-182 confirm work has started on a brand new album

Tom DeLonge, of Blink-182 fame, has revealed that the band is working on a brand new studio album.

DeLonge took to his official Instagram account earlier today (July 14) and confirmed the exciting news by sharing a photograph of himself and his other two band mates, Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus, adding: "Rehearsals start today... And yes there will be a new album #SorryForTheWait #Blink."

They also recently put two Reading and Leeds Festival warm-up dates on sale for London at the well-loved Brixton Academy and tickets for both concerts have already sold out. Tweeting about the shows, the band wrote: "Thank you London for selling out 2 nights in record time at the #O2AcademyBrixton #Blink182."

The 'All The Small Things' hitmakers will perform at this year's Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK across the weekend of August 22-24 along with the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Paramore, and Jimmy Eat World
