Meghan Trainor's 'All About That Bass' stays at No. 1 for a third week

‘All About That Bass’ by Meghan Trainor is at the top of the UK singles chart for a third consecutive week, making it the longest-running No.1 so far of 2014 by a female lead artist.

Over the last three week’s ‘All About That Bass’ has sold over 100,000 copies.

Up two places to No. 2 this week is Taylor Swift with ‘Shake It Off’. 

Highest new entry of the week goes to One Direction with ‘Steal My Girl’ debuting at No. 3.

Completing the top five is Ed Sheeran, up six places to No. 4, with ‘Thinking Out Loud’ and ‘Bang Bang’ by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, down three to No. 5.

Other than the One Direction boys, there are a further six new entries to the rest of the chart from The Vamps featuring Shawn Mendes at No. 9 with ‘Oh Cecelia’; Eminem and Sia at No. 10 with ‘Guts Over Fear’; ‘Bullit’ by DJ Watermat at No. 15; ‘Dirty Love’ by Wilkinson and Talay Riley at No. 20; ‘Drunk and Incapable’ from Krishane with Melissa Steel at No. 27; and Charli XCX at No. 35 with ‘Break The Rules’.
