Ellie Goulding confirms 2015 album release

Ellie Goulding has revealed that her new album will be launched next year.

The 'Anything Could Happen' singer's last LP was 2013's 'Halcyon Days' which was an expanded re-issue of 2012's 'Halcyon'.

'Halcyon' and Goulding's 2010 debut 'Lights' both topped the UK albums chart.

Whilst taking part in The Royal Variety Performance Ellie spoke to Digital Spy about the work she is putting into her forthcoming third album.

Goulding stated: "The only big thing coming up for me now is my third album, which won't be out until next year. Everything is going into that."

The 27-year-old singer-songwriter also spoke about her fondness for working with Calvin Harris:

"He's a lovely guy and that makes it very easy. We just have a good chemistry."

Other new music in the pipeline for Ellie is a potential duet with Canadian rapper Drake. She explained in a recent interview that the pair had recorded together and the resultant track is in the running to be featured on Drake's next album.
