Damon Albarn, La Roux and Royal Blood in NME's Best Albums of 2014 list

British alternative magazine NME has today (December 2) published the list of the Best Albums of 2014 as voted for by its readers and the impressive self-titled debut from Royal Blood came in first place

Blur's Damon Albarn finished at No.3 with his exciting solo album 'Everyday Robots', La Roux's 'Trouble In Paradise' is just behind in fourth place, and Jack White's 'Lazaretto' is at No.9

Back in September, songstress La Roux confessed that she doesn't expect her new record to make her any money because the music industry is in a state right now: “I spent two years on ‘Trouble In Paradise’ and I most likely won't make any money out of it. The only money I will make is from radio play. All the money I've had up until now is from radio. I think people find this really, really, really hard to believe. It's not a lie, it's just the way it is.”

Royal Blood, meanwhile, announced details of a headlining UK tour that will take place in February 2015 and the jaunt will kick off on the 22nd in Glasgow at the Barrowlands. The full schedule can be seen below:
