Shayne Ward reveals dream collaborations and passion for poetry in Twitter Q&A

Hitmaker Shayne Ward took to his official Twitter page this afternoon (March 9) and hosted an impromptu Q&A session with his 264,000 followers and opened up about dream duets, his creative process and his forthcoming new record.

When asked about his creative process, the singer explained that he tends to write in different forms in order to capture ideas as they come to him: "Depends on how I'm feeling. I write poems and jot notes downs for ideas... I'm quite a deep lyricist when I want to be."

Ward also opened up about his dream collaborators and confessed that there are several people he would love to work with: "Wow... Sam Smith, George Ezra, Tom Jones, and P!nk... it's all about the voice."

A fan then quizzed the heartthrob on his favourite track from new album, 'Closer', and he explained: "I loved recording 'My Heart Would Take You Back'... because of my love for Motown and The Stylistics." Referring to his new album's title and how he chose it, Ward added: "It's an opportunity for you guys to feel how I felt when recording... Certain songs are true feelings. A closer insight!"
