All Time Low storm the UK albums chart at No.1

Pop-punk heroes All Time Low have scored a midweek No.1 album today (April 8) with their brand new record, 'Future Hearts'.

If the band maintain their momentum, this will be their highest-charting album in the UK to date. All Time Low's 2012 offering, 'Don't Panic', peaked at No.9. 'Future Hearts' is currently 4,500 combined chart sales ahead of its closest competitor, which is James Bay’s 'Chaos And The Calm' at No.2

Elsewhere on the UK Top 40, Ed Sheeran’s 'X' is at No.3, last week’s chart-topper 'The Day Is My Enemy' by The Prodigy slips to No.4, and Sam Smith’s 'In The Lonely Hour' completes the Top 5.

The Script have shot up an impressive 32 places to No.14 with 'No Sound Without Silence' following their performance on last week’s final of 'The Voice', and East India Youth’s second album 'Culture Of Volume' is at No.37.
