A photograph of Meghan Trainor posing on the red carpet for a concert in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 9) wearing a black blazer and floral pencil skirt by Ted Baker surfaced this week, but it appears that the image has been digitally enhanced.

In one version, Trainor appears without alteration and in the second (both pictured side by side below), it seems as though she has been cinched to appear slimmer. A press release from Ted Baker has now confirmed that the company did not doctor the original image:

"Our L.A. based agency did not Photoshop or intentionally alter images in anyway (sic). We are absolutely mortified by this story as we hold our relationship with Trainor in high regard and we are thrilled that she is a loyal fan of Ted Baker..."

"The photos were cropped and reduced in size in order to fit into the email... Ted Baker appreciates and respects women of all sizes and we think Meghan Trainor - a woman of remarkable talent - looks fantastic in Ted."
