Shawn Mendes has put pen to paper on a contract with a modelling agency.

The singer has teamed up with Wilhelmina Models.

The company will help the Canadian explore editorial opportunities.

It will also collaborate with Mendes on seeking out modelling, endoresements and product deals.

The singer meanwhile is currently enjoying success on both sides of the Atlantic with his latest single 'Stitches'.

The track has just reached No.8 in the UK.

It is also placed at No.5 in the US.

The song features on Mendes' 2015 debut album 'Handwritten'.

The singer is currently promoting the Camila Cabello collaboration 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', which is uncluded on a recent album repackage.
