Tune in to watch the 58th Annual Grammy Awards tonight

This evening marks music's biggest night, with CBS' presentation of the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

For the first time, the ceremony is set to be broadcast live on-air and streaming, coast-to-coast.

LL Cool J will host the event, being held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Prior to the show, preview coverage and live scenes from the red carpet will be streamed online at CBSN beginning at 6pm ET/3pm PT.

Among the artists scheduled to perform tonight are Adele, Alabama Shakes, James Bay, Tori Kelly, Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding, the Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp and Joe Perry), Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood, Kendrick Lamar, Little Big Town, Miguel, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd.

Lady Gaga, who is nominated for the song she co-wrote with Diane Warren, 'Til It Happens to You' (from the documentary "The Hunting Ground"), will be performing a "multisensory" tribute to the legendary late David Bowie, who died earlier this year in January.

A special tribute to Lionel Richie, who is the Recording Academy's 2016 MusiCares person of the year, also will be featured on the Grammys telecast.

Earth, Wind & Fire will be presented with the 2016 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award, while also honoring the band's founding member Maurice White, who died on February 4.

The late Glenn Frey of the Eagles is also be honored by his bandmates Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, Timothy B. Schmit and Joe Walsh, along with singer-songwriter Jackson Browne.

Presenters will include James Corden, Stephen Colbert, Ice Cube, Selena Gomez, Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran.
