No Bieber fever for Ne-YoNe-Yo explained that he watched an eleven year old Justin Bieber perform years before his rise to fame but didn’t think to sign him because he felt he was too young. Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Ne-Yo said, “I still feel like he's figuring out things. Once he gets some tangible records he'll be a force to be reckoned with. Ten years from now no one will be singing ‘Baby’. It's good but not very memorable." The ‘Closer’ star admits that he doesn’t regret missing out on the opportunity because “things happen for a reason. He wasn't supposed to be signed to me. Usher has done good. Where he is now is where he's meant to be.” After singing in front of Usher, Bieber was signed by Antonio Reid, the chairman of Island Def Jam records, and has gone on to become internationally recognized and not to mention adored by millions. MTV have recruited Bieber as the digital host of the EMAs, alongside Eva Longoria, which will be held in Madrid on November 7. Watch Justin Bieber's latest video, 'U Smile', below:
