Lady Gaga's childhood piano to be auctioned for charityA piano used by Lady Gaga when she was a child is being put up for auction in order to raise money for the Born This Way Foundation. This Everett Piano Co. instrument was featured in a "Women Who Rock" exhibition at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland during 2011 and 2012, and will be on offer at Julien's Auctions' "Music Icons" memorabilia sale at the Hard Rock Cafe New York on May 21. The 'Judas' icon's grandparents purchased the piano for $780 back in 1966 and later gave it to Gaga's mother and father. Darren Julien, the owner of Julien's Auctions, explained that collectors and investors alike are always looking for rock 'n' roll memorabilia because they are proven to be great investments: "Values continue to increase due to the collectability of Western pop culture globally. Rock 'n' roll memorabilia is the new art market." Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
