NWA won't perform at Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction

NWA have confirmed that they won't play live at this year's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction.

The group's Ice Cube told The New York Times that there is a "lack of support" from organisers to see them play live.

The seminal hip-hoppers - who feature Dr. Dre - will still appear on the night to be inducted at the event, which is taking place tonight (April 8).

He said: "I guess we really didn't feel like we were supported enough to do the best show we could put on."

When asked if it is due to a lack of support from organisers, he said: "Pretty much, yeah. We wanted to do it on a whole other level, and that just couldn't happen.

"But we're totally honoured, humbled and appreciative to the Hall for even just considering us, inducting us and inviting us... I believe everybody's going to be there. As it stands now."
