Hitmaker The Weeknd has revealed that he is very inspired by Michael Jackson and considers him to be part of his family because he grew up listening to his music.

Speaking to Vogue.com, the 'I Can't Feel My Face' sensation admitted that he has been hugely influenced by the late King of Pop: "He’s a part of my family. When I was born, that was the music my mother was listening to. Michael Jackson is a third parent to me.”

The Weeknd went onto add that fans are in luck because he is working hard on a project at the moment: "Creatively, some magic is happening right now, and I don’t want to lose it. It could be an album or it could be something else, but whatever it is, music is being made.”
