'Rocky Horror Picture Show' premiere to take place at MIPCOMThe highly anticipated TV reboot of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' will get its premiere on October 18, according to Deadline. It has been announced that attendees at this year's MIPCOM, which is "year’s most anticipated global market for entertainment content across all platforms", will get to see the production ahead of its TV debut on October 20. Christina Milian, who plays Magenta in the remake, told Entertainment Tonight that it won't replace the 1975 movie, but will hopefully bring it to a new generation: "It's really fun to see all of us bring our own take to these characters, and also just pay homage to the original." Adam Lambert plays the role of Eddie in the new production, Laverne Cox plays the lead role, and Reeve Carney plays Riff Raff. Lambert recently admitted that he was nervous to take on the project because the original is so iconic: "It's an incredible original film... It's shocking. Especially for then... when I was a kid and I first saw it, I was like 'can they do that?!' That was the thing - it is so iconic and such a cult hit that when I heard they were re-doing it, I was like 'ooh, that's a little risky, how are they going to do that?'"
