Jamie T says people get "weirded out" when he talks about his anxiety

Musician Jamie T has opened up about his struggles with anxiety

He chatted to The Guardian newspaper about how it feels more socially acceptable to discuss mental health problems now, but he still sometimes gets a strange reaction from the people he chooses to talk about it with:

“It’s more acceptable to talk about it now than it was then. People were a bit iffy about it. I continued to speak about it on other records, and people tended to be ‘What, are you still going through that?’ People get weirded out about it, but it seemed natural for me to talk about it.”

He will head out on a tour this coming September in support of his forthcoming new album, entitled 'Trick', which is due to be released on September 2. Check out his tour dates below:
