Paul McCartney braved the snow and thanked fans for turning up to his intimate London gig despite the weather last night (December 18).

Addressing the wintry conditions, he said: "Actually I'm glad you got here, in the warm from the snow."

"We were thinking there'd be about four of you in the audience!"

The show, which took place at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo, finished with an encore of ‘Wonderful Christmas Time’.
