David Gray announces UK tour

UK singer-songwriter David Gray, who had a hit in 2000 with 'Babylon', has announced a string of tour dates for later this year. 

The 'Sail Away' star wrote to fans on his official website about his excitement at the news, and explained:

"After a fantastic 'Lost and Found' tour in the USA, I am delighted to announce some UK dates for the end of May/early June. There will be 8 shows across the country concluding at The Royal Festival Hall on June 6th."

He also added: 

"PS - if you have any further song requests for the tour, then please write in. Alibi and My oh my look set to be added to the list at the next rehearsal session, as it stands."

The dates are as follows:

  • May 29 - Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
  • May 30 - Warwick Arts Centre in Conventry
  • May 31 - York Barbican
  • June 1 - Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow
  • June 3 - Bridgewater Hall in Manchester
  • June 5 - Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham
  • June 6 - Royal Festival Hall in London
