Ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger may be able to afford the best of everything, but has revealed that she still has an eye for a bargain when grocery shopping. 

Speaking to The Daily Record she explained that there are certain things she will make an effort to buy cheaply:

"I grew up with no money so I still get the best bargains at the grocery store but at the same time if there's an Yves Saint Laurent purse that I want, I've got to have it right now."

The 'Poison' singer also said that home made gifts are often more meaningful than store bought ones:

"I love, love, love buying gifts. I try to make it sentimental and I get the extravagant stuff too. I love receiving gifts too. Lewis has given me beautiful jewellery and we make one another things too, that's probably the best thing."
