Nicole Scherzinger tops the UK charts

Nicole Scherzinger has earned her first number 1 UK solo single with 'Don't Hold Your Breath'.

The track charted tonight, March 20, and managed to knock Adele from her four-week reign. She tweeted earlier this evening:

"OMG #DHYB #1 in the UK! Thank you everyone 4 supporting me & my music! #killerlove tomorrow, I hope you love the album! Love & gratitude! Xx"

The Wanted entered the chart at number 3 with their Comic Relief single, 'Gold Forever', and new girl band Parade were the only other new entry tonight in the top ten with their debut single 'Louder'.
