Record Store Day reveals its releases

The full list of releases for Record Store Day has been unveiled and along with being extensive it also boasts some fantastic names.

The much celebrated day falls on April 16 and will honour the industry of music. A press release from the organisation reads:

"This is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day and hundreds of artists in the United States and in various countries across the globe make special appearances and performances."

Some of the releases on April 16 will include limited runs of Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep', which will be available on 10" vinyl, Foo Fighters' covers album called 'Medium Rare' and Kate Bush's 'Hounds Of Love', which will be sold as a 10" hot pink vinyl.

There are several rock releases making an appearance this year too, with special editions coming from A Day To Remember, Deftones and Jimmy Eat World.
