Spice Girl Mel B found herself at the hands of a Twitter hacker yesterday, April 11, after personal messages about her family relationships, which focused on her sister Danielle Brown, were seen coming from her account.

She has since deleted the tweets that could be seen on her page, although her sister Danielle's account shows her side of the story and the messages she wrote back to Mel B say:

"Can't believe my sister has stood me up after 3 yrs of waiting for that call.I am devastated and again disapointed beyond belief !!!!!!"

"I have to tweet u as its all about public image 4 you.4 me its was allways about family,that's a wrap, Love you x"

"MONEY????? U have never give me a penny and I would never take a penny off you and I have NEVER sold a story on you!!LOVE YOU"

"No ha I'm crying. Funny how you cant reply to texts or calls but can reply to tweets.U need a REALITY check not a reality show"

Mel B has now written (April 12) to her followers explaining that her account must have been hacked:

"omg just been hacked,changing my account someone is messin with me and my family,my sister has never asked me for money,i love her to bits"

"Password changed!! What a sick person!!"

"i would never have a twitter argument"

It does seem, however, that Danielle is unsure about this as she then wrote:

"hahahahaha what a convenient HACKER I've cried a river……"
