Jordin Sparks, who rose to fame as the winner of 2006's American Idol, has released the video for her brand new single 'The World I Knew'. 

She has teamed up with Disney for this exciting release as the track features on the soundtrack from Disneynature's forthcoming film, 'African Cats'. The song is already available to purchase through iTunes, but the movie will see its U.S release on April 22 to coincide with Earth Day. 

The past year has been a successful one for the 'No Air' star as the hit musical series 'Glee' covered her collaboration with Chris Brown and she was recently confirmed to open up for New Kids On The Block during their summer tour of America.
