George Michael debuts royal wedding song

George Michael recently announced that he was going to record a song to celebrate Prince William and Kate Middleton's forthcoming nuptials, and on Friday night he gave the tribute its premiere. 

During his appearance on Friday's (April 15) 'Piers Morgan Tonight', the star unveiled the track which is a beautiful, ethereal cover of Stevie Wonder's 'You And I'. Michael revealed that fans can download their free copy of the song from his official website and can also make a donation to 'The Prince William & Miss Catherine Middleton Charitable Gift Fund'.

Speaking to Piers, he explained:

"I'm incredibly happy for William, incredibly happy for his partner, and I'm absolutely sure that Diana would have loved the whole thing,"

"I really hope she would have loved this track."

The 'Faith' singer tweeted to his fans last night, April 16, and said:

"The response has been phenomenal... I hope Kate and Will feel the same :) x"
