John Legend offers a helping hand to Cheryl Cole

U.S singer John Legend has offered to help Cheryl Cole out with anything that might better her career in America.

The 'Ordinary People' superstar is a fan of Cole's and wants her to know he's always there if she needs his help, and he told The Daily Star newspaper, "whatever Cheryl needs, I'm glad to help. But I'm sure she will be fine."

His confidence in Cole as both a television and music personality will obviously be reassuring and he explained:

"It's big her getting the job on 'X Factor' USA. A lot of people don't know her in the States but they will now."

Despite his admiration for the 'Promise This' hitmaker, he won't watch the show because he admits doesn't like talent shows:

"I'm not much of a talent show watcher so I won't be tuning in personally. When you do it professionally it's hard to watch talent shows, but I know it's good for everybody else so I'll just be a little snob in my corner while the rest of world is tuning in."
