Gavin Rossdale has opened up about the “horrific” night when his son with rocker wife Gwen Stefani, Zuma, took a tumble from a countertop in the couple’s home, breaking his arm.

“It was one of the worst nights of our lives,” the former Bush frontman told People.com. “It was one of those freak events — he fell. A freak accident.”

The parents rushed the two-and-a-half-year-old to the hospital following the incident, and Rossdale says all is well once again.

“He’s fine now,” says Gavin. “It’s almost worse for us [as parents] … The kids are never alone and you turn your back and it takes a split second.”
