Amy Winehouse keeps her distance from goddaughter Dionne Bromfield

Dionne Bromfield has revealed that her godmother, Amy Winehouse, kept her distance during the recording of Bromfield’s new album.

Winehouse was a constant figure during the recording of the teen's 2009 debut, ‘Introducing Dionne Bromfield.’  But two years on, Dionne has been left to find her feet musically.

Dionne explained, "She wanted me to produce something myself and shine in my own right.  She was there if I needed help with my lyrics and came down to some recording sessions but she doesn't want me to always be coming off the back of her.”

Dionne went on to say of her godmother, “She knows I can do it and have my own ideas and kinda left me to it.”

15 year old Bromfield is a student at the Sylvia Young School Of Music and is studying for her GCSEs.
