Red Hot Chili Peppers' Frusciante isn't comfortable with Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction

Red Hot Chili Peppers have confirmed that their former guitarist won't be in attendance when they are inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next month. 

John Frusciante was a big part of the iconic group for some time, but drummer Chad Smith has explained that he simply "didn't feel comfortable" with the idea of being present at the prestigious ceremony:

"He didn't feel comfortable coming, which we totally respect. We asked him... He said, 'I'm just not really comfortable with that, but good luck and thanks for inviting me.' It was all good."

"He's the kind of guy, I think, that once he's finished with something he's just on to the next phase of his life. The Chili Peppers are not really on his radar right now."

 

 

 

The 'Californication' rockers will be inducted on 14 April 2012 in Cleveland, Ohio and you can watch their music video for 'The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie' below:
