Frances Bean Cobain: "Twitter should ban my mother"

The daughter of Courntey Love and the late Kurt Cobain, Frances Bean, has spoken out about the recent rumours that suggest the Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl tried to come on to her and called the allegations ridiclous.

19-year-old Frances was shocked after her mother took to social networking site Twitter to rant about Grohl supposedly hitting on her and has now issued a statement to the Rolling Stone magazine in order to refute Love's claims.

Frances revealed that her relationship with the 'All My Life' rocker is purely platonic and that her mother, Courtney Love, should not be allowed to post damaging messages on Twitter:

"While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother."

Following Love's Twitter tirade, Grohl also spoke out about the situation and explained: "Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."
