Alexandra Burke and Rebecca Ferguson are among the names of newly confirmed acts for BT's London Live summer events.

The company is hosting a number of free concerts in London's Hyde Park to celebrate the Olympic Games, which are due to take place in the city this year.

Rebecca Ferguson will play Hyde Park on July 31 whilst former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke will play on August 2.

Scottish singer Amy Macdonald will perform at the grand venue on August 3, with Alyssa Reid lined up for August 5.

The concerts are just some of many live music events taking place across Britain as Olympic fever begins to take hold of the country.
