Boyband The Wanted have revealed that they had a chance encounter with heartthrobs One Direction in an unusual place.

Speaking to BBC's Radio 1, the 'Chasing The Sun' superstars explained that they bumped into the young lads at a massage parlour and had a brief chat with them. Tom Parker said:

"We only saw them once when we bumped into them at a massage parlour. It was in the smallest unused rehearsal space and they were literally next door. So we went and said 'hi'."

Nathan Sykes also opened up about their growing success in the USA and admitted that there are some really strong acts coming out of the UK at the moment, which have definitely helped propel them into the spotlight:

"We had a really good team in Def Jam Records, and it was just the right time. One Direction were over at the same time and it just turned into a British Invasion."
