Carly Rae Jepsen says Bieber duet will feature on her new album

'Call Me Maybe' sensation Carly Rae Jepsen has revealed that her forthcoming album will feature an exciting collaboration with Justin Bieber.

The songstress confirmed the news to MTV and explained that the record will include duets with LMFAO's RedFoo and fun.'s guitarist Jack Antonoff, but the track she worked on with Bieber came about during their first meeting:

"The last collaboration is a song with Justin Bieber. We're gonna do a little duet. And then the rest are sort of like, I think 'Call Me Maybe' is a pretty fair representation. It is pop, but there's also dance-pop and a little hint of folk-pop."

"It was a song that him and Toby Gad brought to the table and asked [me to record]. Actually, on my first introduction of Bieber, he was like, 'Do you wanna sing this song?' I said, 'Yes!' I love that track as well, so it was exciting!"

When asked about the song she recorded with RedFoo, Jepsen said: "We made friends and started working on a song together, and we actually started working on a majority of that song over the phone."
