Katy Perry's "indecent" dancing accused of distracting students sitting exams

Katy Perry has been accused of indecency over dance moves she pulled at a concert in India.

Perry performed at a special event in Chennai on April 3 to mark the opening of cricket's Indian Premier League.

The singer was one of a number of acts at the event, with the likes of Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan also performing.

However, the Press Trust of India reports that lawyer K. Jebakumar has asked Indian courts to investigate his claims that Perry - and Bachchan, along with other performers - danced in an "obscene and lascivious" manner and as such acted indecently.

Jebakumar also claims that Perry's dancing distracted local students who were sitting exams at the time.
