Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan lined up for December duet

Pete Waterman has confirmed that he will be bringing his Hit Factory show to London in December.

The producer originally planned to host a day of 80s and 90s pop nostalgia including the likes of Steps at London's Hyde Park last month, but bad weather scuppered the plans.

However, the event - which was set to feature a duet between Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan - is now set to take place over two nights at London's O2 Arena in December.

Waterman said that he is in the process of persuading one of the artists not to go home for Christmas early. He said:

"We are going to do two nights at the O2 at Christmas. We've just got to confirm one artist who is due to go home for Christmas, I'll give you a clue there. I have to convince that artist to stay here until at least Christmas Eve."
