Conor Maynard tops UK chart with debut album

Conor Maynard has today topped the UK album charts with his debut studio effort, ‘Contrast.’

The 19-year-old, who has charted with two of its singles, ‘Can’t Say No’ and ‘Vegas Girl,’ fended off stiff competition from Plan B’s ‘iLL Manors’ to debut at pole position.

Emeli Sande’s ‘Our Version Of Events’ climbed to No.3, Maroon 5's Overexposed dropped to No.4, while Delilah’s ‘From The Roots Up’ entered at No.5.

Elsewhere, there were new entries for Mike Oldfield’s ‘Two Sides: The Very Best Of,’ Rick Ross’ ‘God Forgives, I Don’t,’ Blur’s ‘21’ and Testament’s ‘Dark Roots Of Earth.’
