Rumours that the Spice Girls are reuniting for the Olympic Games closing ceremony seem to have gained a little more credence after photos emerged of the group apparently rehearsing for the gig.

Rumours have been circulating for months about the 90s girl group playing some role at the London 2012 celebrations.

They missed out on the opening ceremony in late July but images have been swirling in the media today (August 10) of the 'Wannabe' stars apparently rehearsing for the closing show on August 12.

The pictures reportedly show the five ladies standing on the top of London's trademark black taxis.

Other stars who are said to have been snapped at rehearsals include George Michael (2nd photo below), Jessie J, Tinie Tempah and Queen's Brian May.
