Professor Green and Example stick up for Cher Lloyd after festival bottlingProfessor Green and Example have backed Cher Lloyd after she was bottled and booed at the V Festival. The former X Factor contestant was performing at the Hylands Park leg of the festival on Sunday (August 19) when people reportedly threw bottles and booed, with Lloyd temporarily walking off stage. Lloyd took to Twitter afterwards to express her disappointment over the incident but thanked her fans for giving her support. Professor Green, who was stabbed in the neck with a glass bottle in 2009, gave his backing today (August 20) to Lloyd, adding that people should walk away from the stage instead of throwing bottles. He said: "Someone needs to have a word with themselves...how f**king disgusting can people be? Chin up @cherlloyd. It's easier to walk away from a stage if you don't like an artist than it is to fill a bottle with p*ss and launch it, surely?" Example meanwhile tweeted: "Whilst i'm not a fan of Cher Lloyd I don't think anyone deserves bottles of piss thrown at them. Stick to plain old booing in future people."
