Rita Ora is 'honoured' to have such big names on her debut album

Songstress Rita Ora has revealed her excitement at getting to work with some top producers on her debut album.

'Ora', which was released earlier today (August 27), has an impressive list of credits and was mixed and mastered by some fantastic people including Diplo, The-Dream, Will.i.Am, and Chase and Status, and she told BANG Showbiz that it was an incredible opportunity:

"When you're young you have so many different choices, it's an honour to have all those different people to help you express all those different influences. Especially being from London you have hip-hop influences, soul influences, pop, dance, everything - and you need a writer and producer to get those across."

She added that eventually it would be great to create a long-term working partnership with a producer, but as an artist just starting out it was important to test the chemistry with different names:

"I would love to have, over time, to find one writer and one producer that we could do a whole album together. But as a beginner in the music industry, when you get the chance to write with all these people, you don't want to say, 'No, I'm not gonna take your song.'"

"As long as I connect to the songs, that's the most important thing for me, because I want people to believe what I'm singing and in order to do that, I have to believe what I'm singing in the first place."
