Maroon 5 have announced details of a UK and Ireland tour set to take place next year.

The US band have achieved great levels of success recently with hit singles such as 'Moves Like Jagger' and 'Payphone'.

Adam Levine and co. are set to bring their live tour to the UK and Ireland in June next year for five arena shows.

The run will open in Birmingham on June 22 2013 before concluding at Dublin's O2 Arena on June 29.

There are also shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow. The full schedule is as follows:

June 22 2013 - Birmingham, LG Arena

June 23 - London, O2 Arena

June 26 - Manchester, Manchester Arena

June 27 - Glasgow, Braehead Arena

June 29 - Dublin, O2 Arena

Tickets for the events will go on sale at 9am UK time on Friday (September 14).
