Courtney Love denies Nirvana musical plans

Singer Courtney Love has confirmed that despite reports, she is not working on a musical or biopic about her late husband's band, Nirvana.

Last month, the former manager of Britney Spears, Sam Lufti, was quoted as saying that he had teamed up with Love and together they were working on plans for a project that would bring the grunge band's story to life on stage:

"[Courtney Love and I] are currently working on a possible motion picture or Broadway musical based on the Nirvana catalogue, based on her life and Kurt Cobain's."

But now, she has confirmed to The Observer that no such project is in the works: "there will be no musical." When asked why not, Love simply explained that "sometimes it's best to leave things alone".
