Simon Cowell donates $25,000 to hurricane Sandy appeal

Music mogul Simon Cowell has made a generous donation of $25,000 to those affected by the devastation of hurricane Sandy recently.

He gave the money to the New York Daily News campaign, which is helping to delivering supplies to people hit by the hurricane, and speaking about the worthy cause he explained:

"I’m proud to give my support to the Daily News Sandy appeal. This has been a terrible tragedy for so many families who have had their lives and homes destroyed."

"I hope everyone gets all the help they need to put their lives back together as soon as possible.”

67-year-old Jose Sanchez said: “The Daily News always impresses. They’re for the people — always.”
