One Direction are used to being showered with gifts from their millions of adoring fans.

However, there seem to be some gifts that are stranger than others. Louis admitted to being given a live hermit crab. Whilst Harry Styles said that the guys had also received a box of mushrooms dressed as themselves.

One Direction appeared on last night’s live show of The X Factor and sang their new single ‘Little Things.’

Whilst chatting to Olly Murs and Caroline Flack on The Xtra Factor the boys revealed how strange it was to be back performing on the show where they were put together and that made them famous.

“It feels like you’ve left school and you come back and you see all the same faces,” Liam Payne revealed.

Speaking about who he wants to win this year’s X Factor, Louis said: “My favourites are James and Ella. James has such great, raw talent. 

One Direction’s new single ‘Little Things’ written by Ed Sheeran and their highly anticipated second album ‘Take Me Home’ will be released tomorrow, Monday 12th November.
